[Special-Issue] Zinedine Zidane : Real Madrid Coach

Hi readers,

As you may know is you read the sport newspapers, Zidane is now the new coach of the Real Madrid since the layoff of Rafael Benitez. Zidane was the coach of the second team of Real Madrid.

In my opinion, Zidane is maybe the best player in history. He was amazing on the pitch.

Now I will make a chronicle of his career.

He started as a player of AS Cannes. With this club he played his first match in first division. He was transferred to Girondins de Bordeaux in 1992. He stayed four years in Bordeaux. Then he joined Juventus Turin in 1996. He stayed five years in Italy. He was seen as the successor of Michel Platini by the tifosis. Finally in sign a contrat for Real Madrid in 2001, becoming the most expensive player in the whole history (75M €). On may 2006, he announces his plan to retire after the 2006 World Cup.

With french national team, he was unbelievable. He wins 1998 World Cup, 2000 European Cup and take french team to final in 2006 World Cup.

Zidane was an amazing player. He was a magician with the ball. One of the best declaration about him was by Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the best coach in history : “Give me 10 piece of wood and Zinedine Zidane and I’ll win the champions league”. I think this declaration can sum up the career of ZZ.

I can’t finish this post without the most beautiful goal of the century…

  1. I agree that Zidane is one of the best player in the history, but i don’t know YET if he will be a good coach. For example maradona was a great player too and not a really good coach. And all Argentinian player respect him.
